Pain Is Weakness Leaving The Body!

An acquaintance of mine wrote this quote down & I thought it was pretty cool which lead me to share my “PAIN” with you!

So… I’m back into my spectacular work out routine again!  The thing about me is, I can motivate myself like no other!  But as soon as I lose 5-10 pounds (which only takes me about 2 weeks) I say to myself “Alright!  Good Job, I deserve a break today”!  However my breaks always turn out to be a month or two long!  Not Good… and of course you know what happens, the weight I worked off, found it’s way back to my ass!

I can’t use baby weight as my excuse anymore because my baby is 7yrs old!  So what it comes down to, is… I’m just being lazy!  DAMN that sucks to admit!  I’m not a night-time work-out kind of gal!  I have to work out in the morning, it’s when I’m most ready and willing to go!  So I started doing my pilates tapes (which I love)!  I’ve done the 20 minute workout every morning for the past 4 days and I’ve already lost 5 pounds already~SWEET!  But I’m not getting excited… I’ll get excited when it’s been over a month and it’s become a lifestyle rather than a “routine” I must abide by!

THIS MORNING, I popped in the advance 60 minute video tape!  OH MY GOODNESS!!  Now for those of you who have never tried pilates, it’s all about stretching, breathing and using your “power house” (aka stomach muscles) to ground yourself while you’re consentrating on your body movements!  I personally like it because it works my entire body AND I never feel drained or exhausted after a work out… I feel refreshed, my posture feels awesome and I’m relaxed!

NOW… I’m one of those people that even though I’m older and a little overweight, I can still run a mile with no problem….I can still swim a mile with no problem….It takes me a lot longer than it used to of course and anything more than a mile would probably cause me to faint…so yea, I’m NOT in shape anymore but sometimes I get cocky & think….SURE…. no problem….I can do this!

UM…..YEA RIGHT!!!!!

I had to push my ass up in the air with my hands but DAMIT…. I DID IT!!!!
